For $5 I was expecting a plastic tray that would be similar to what you’d get in a Jello jiggler set. Instead, this looks and feels like the throw-away packaging you’d find lining a toy. The mold is stapled directly to a paper with instructions and candy melt heart images with no other packaging. I had to pry the staples up carefully to avoid cracking the mold and still ended up with a crack branching toward one of the hearts. Overall, I think it will do its job for my purposes but I wouldn’t buy a product like this again for $5.I try to use Mexican cookies or oreo vanilla cookies because they aren't as sweet as other cookies. The mold itself can use any 2" cookie though but with all that chocolate surrounding it, it gets to be a bit much if you choose a really sweet cookie. they are easy to use and look good whether you go the easy route and do all one color or go for two colors. i don't have the patience to do just the outline so i fill in the whole heart instead. just remember not to overfill because you're putting the cookie in the mold and it won't get completely coveredThis product was alright, definitely not anything great. It was messy and the cookies did not come out like the photos. I am pretty good at stuff like this and for the overall experience I would not purchase again. It also takes a long time if you are making more than 8 cookie treats. If you do purchase this product I would suggest that you get more than one tray if you are making a lot of them. Mainly because it takes a while for the chocolate to set/harden even in the fridge. Shipping was fast and packed well.It is a pretty mold, but you have to be careful. There is very little support for the sticks on the mold itself, so plan on extending the support with some paper towels or something else. Otherwise, the sticks will fall and be crooked. The hearts themselves are great; a little thicker than some molds, and about an inch square. The cardboard packaging is stapled to the mold with heavy-duty staples, and I needed pliers and time to remove them carefully enough to not crack the mold itself- it seems this is consistent through most Wilton molds now. This mold works great for a small project. I needed 75 hearts and the plastic broke on the third batch of 15. I got to finish but it would be better if the mold was more durable. This Wilton mold is a waste of money. It clearly states on the product page that it is silicone. It is not. It's the clear thin plastic that most companies use to COVER their product with. You get the plastic which is supposed to be the mold stapled to the paper side which has the description of the product & that's it.If you did use this as a mold, your product would be thin and on top of that, the plastic is not going to hold up.Save yourself the effort of ordering it and the disappointment you'll have once you get it because it is a waste of money!!!Worked exactly as intended: chocolate popped right out after it was cooled down. I did not try to do any fancy multi-color decorating, I used plain white, but the indentations for the design are clear and easy to see. If you have a small piping tip you could get the different colors into the design if you wanted. When I got this, I thought the actual mould was missing. All you get is a clear plastic cover, with a cardboard product card stapled to it. The pictures & description don't make this clear. I was about to make a complaint about a missing item but thought I'd check the other reviews first. In actual fact, the clear plastic cover is the mould itself. I've not actually tried making lollipops yet but once the confusion is cleared up, the mould itself seems fine. Note - no sticks are included - something else that could be clearer in the description. Taking two stars off for these two points.Does what it says on the tin. But I wish it was made of a more durable, dishwasher proof material, like silicone. Could be a little deeper too. Oh well!Bought this product for valentines day. The mould is ok, have used a few times but it has cracked in a few places. If using as a one off it is fine, but for longer use a silicon mould be be better. This is exactly what it says it is. Easy chocolate lollies in no time. Try this and you won't be disappointed. These are also being used to help the THE NAMIBIAN PROJECT more info about that is on Facebook.
