Engaging Depiction of the First People and Canadien Societies. Donald Sutherland captured in his youthful prime, well worth watching, the first few minutes are just examples of analog solutions to an artistic desire -- the poorly shot fog of the opening sequence soon clears up and the western's palette fits the distressed stock. Great film, deserves better reviews.
