they are really thick - for a lollypop they would be great, but i just wanted disks, so I only filled them about 1/2 way, which worked out great. IN that regard, they are versatile. I wiped a fine gold dust over the bottom, then added white candy melt. They had a nice-looking gold finish. They were a hit at the party. :)
