In the real world there are wolves in sheep's clothing and this book tells kids exactly what to do when they encounter one. Definitely an "EVERY FAMILY MUST HAVE!" book.Colorful and well written, the message comes across in a very appropriate and understandable way - even for young children.The story tells of a lamb who's new teacher at school does things she knows aren't right. Worse yet, the teacher tells his students to keep it a secret from their parents!We LOVE the clear message that kids and parents should ALWAYS talk, that parents will love their lambs and keep them safe, and that families can actually practice this kind of communication in real life!One last note. Near the end when the wolf reveals himself the book can feel a little scary but in a good way. It stays well in the world of make-believe but drives home the real life message - parents love and protect us, and we don't keep secrets from them.
